Shot on the Sony A7iii, my collaborator Max Papaleoni, and I surveyed many locations before landing on this empty field in Brooklet, GA. I knew we would be competing with light pollution if we didn't travel outside of the Savannah Metropolitan area, and we arrived in an area with few streetlights of polluting factors.
Our next hurdle was exposing correctly, we achieved this by setting the camera to f2.8 and exposing for 30 second stints. This provided us with amazing results which really brought out many stars that are often obscured due to atmospheric refraction.
